Techno Cafe @ Cyberjaya, Selangor

Techno Cafe is a place that has been around for a very long time. If I am not mistaken, this cafe has been around for almost 9 years now. This cafe is located inside SME Technopreneur Centre and mainly caters to the three office blocks here. However, due to their popularity, they have also started attracting customers from outside this building, mainly those who are looking for a good Malay meal at reasonable prices.

Techno Cafe in SME 1 Building

Outdoor Seating Area
This cafe starts as early as 7 am and stays open till 4 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Since it caters for the working crowd within this building, it doesn't make sense for them to be open during the weekends and public holidays. Their offering starts from breakfast where you get a number of local delicacies including sandwiches etc and then goes on to lunch where you have a whole range of Malay dishes and curries and finally caps their day off with tea time cakes.

Egg Sandwich
All their dishes are very reasonably priced. Sandwiches range around RM 2.00 and items like Nasi Lemak is priced around RM 1.50 onwards as it depends on the number of sides you have. As far as Sandwiches are concerned, you'd get Egg, Tuna and Sardine Sandwiches daily and occasionally Cheese Sandwiches. I have tried all their sandwiches and they are reasonably good. If I were to rate them, I would give it a 8/10.

Nasi Lemak, Spicy Sambal and Potato Wedges
As for their Nasi Lemak, this is predominantly a breakfast item and they have a whole lot of sides to choose from. Their rice is well prepared, has some amazing aroma and flavours. The Sambal is fiery and delicious, perfect for those who love spicy food. If I were to rate their Nasi Lemak, I'd give it 8/10.

Fried Mee Hoon with Squid Sambal and Eggs

Squid Sambal Was Heavenly
When it comes to noodles, they have Mee, Mee Hoon and Kuey Teow every morning. Again, you can add on from any of the sides that's available. I tried their Sambal Sotong and it was awesome. The squid wasn't stiff and the sambal was excellent. One that I would highly recommend here. Their Meee Hoon was good too and I loved the way the egg was done with runny yolks. As for their Mee Hoon, I would give it 8/10 and their Squid Sambal at 9/10.

Delicious Tea Time Cakes
Their Tea Time cakes are no less either. Good variety and reasonable prices. What amazes me is their variety. They have close to 15 different Malay cakes daily and they all taste good. Since it is a small cafe, quantity is minimal, so you'd have to be early to enjoy the variety part of it.

Be it breakfast, lunch or tea time, these guys do have some good food and great variety. If you happen to be in Cyberjaya on a week day, I would surely recommend giving these guys a try. Totally worth it especially if you love Malay food.
